I'll go over this one more time.
If you are asking ANYTHING technical, guess where it's to be posted?
Use your brain before posting.
I've said it way to many times.
Besides being what I've asked, it makes it easier to search for an answer.
If I have to be a dick to get my point across, I will. :alfu

There's not stress involved in running the forum.
It's a simple task of reading the friggin stickies posted in just about every forum.

Well, I'm at it again.
Is it really that difficult to figure out where to start a topic?
Would it be better and I just stop giving a shit?
Or maybe, I'll just shut the forum down for a while, until some of you figure it out!

Just zap em. Or ban the offender temporarily. It's not like the forums are hard to navigate...

Should you find your post deleted, you know why.
If you can't , or choose not to read the Stickies,
this might not be the place for you!
And for those of you who know better,
should you stumble onto one of these, please do not reply.
If you want to inform the person of their mistake, PM them.

Jeeeez.
This is a great 650 place to meet, and 99% of the people here really appreciate this forum, and I doubt even the other 1% really intentionally post in the wrong area, topic, etc. But there's just not enough traffic here to get stressed over stuff like that.

Of course, it is Gary's forum, and he can do with it whatever he deems suitable. We are only guests, not owners, and he pays the tab in time and $$ to keep it going. However being sooooo picky doesn't exactly engender being a friendly place to visit.

Best wishes to my fellow 650 riders in case this gets me a trip to the bit bucket.

2whlgeezer, I don't recall ever having to move any of your topics.
You hit the nail on the head, this is my forum.
What you fail to understand, is that I put Read Me First stickies up for
a reason. Same as I put info about my companies Policies several places
on my website regarding shipping prices and delivery time.
Still I have customers complaining that there order has not shipped 4
days after they order, and that they did not know they had to pay for shipping.
Yet they enter Yes to the fact that they did read and understand.
Same thing here. You would think the first place someone lurking would
go, would be General. That's why I put the info about e-mailing for activation.
Yet I have 50 unactivated accounts, and people PM'ing me on other forums
asking to get activated.
So by posting in the wrong place, especially How To, your basically telling
me you don't care.
Though this forum might not be as active with all the :newbie posts,
I feel we have the most knowledgeable members, and I very rarely have
to jump in and correct, unlike the other forums.
Pretty simple plan.
