tips on how to install quiet insert in jardine gp1 pipe

so im thinking on installing the insert to bring dbs down hopefully just a little anyone do this? how to you get the hole drilled in the perfect spot for the insert? any vid on the difference in sound? does this change any of the characteristics of the bikes powerband?

No pre-drilled hole in the exhaust? Then just insert the insert into the end of the pipe until it looks right, mark on the outside of the pipe where the pre-threaded insert hole is, then drill your hole. The hole needs to be large enough to fit the mounting bolt through.

The sound will be different, but trying to hear what it sounds like on a computer is not very effective.

The back pressure will be increased, and therefore may have an effect on performance.

If you've got any pictures, it will help your effort. But, in this case, it's kinda hard to screw it up permantly.
