2009 650R parts are now up.
Same cams, throttle bodies and ECU are different, which leads me to beleive
that's where the increase hp comes from.

Do you happen to know if the throttle bodies and ECU from the 09' would be interchangable since it is the same engine and all?

Not sure yet on the differences or what will interchange.
What I have found, is the European ECU is best suited for tight technical tracks.
Better bottom thru mid power, while the US ECU makes more peak hp, and better
power mid through top end.
and we have found the best combo is 650R intake cam in the intake, Versys intake in the exhaust.

I take it you're not allowed to regrind cams?
We run superbike, only limitation is max of 700cc.
$155 for an OEM cam, as opposed to a $300 reground cam.

Does a Power Commander (on a US bike) negate that?

Yes.
Now that I've been able to see the dyno results, turns out the EU ecu just has a leaner map.
