FS: 2006 Ninja 650RS Streetfighter, one of a kind (TX)

Postby cefoskey » Thu Mar 31, 2011 9:48 pm

(this is a copy-paste of my sale threads from a couple other forums)

Most people on riderforums and here know the story with this one, probably one of the most modded 650Rs out there since Longbrake's bike. Went though a transformation from stock to a full on SS bikes, now to a factory-looking streetfighter.

Located in Ft Worth TX. Indiana title in hand (I just moved).

Mileage is approx 3900-4000 (previous number was miscalculated), I am including the original gauge cluster which shows 1176 but is not accurate to bike since it was swapped with a 636 gauge for 2 seasons. Harness is uncut and fully intact, so OEM gauge will plug right back in; they were just a bit large of the headlight setup and I was going to install a Koso DB-01R but didnt get around to it last year.

$4750

2006 Ninja 650R (EX-650)

Mods:
Catalyst composites tail + undertail
LSL gold anodized superbike low bars
custom dual beam hi/lo headlight with integrated signals
custom headlight mounting bracketry
Motion pro black levers
Koso bar mounted blue glass mirrors
woodcraft CFM rearsets in black
custom built seat I made from a 636 saddle
Leo Vince SBK slipon
Clear alternatives integrated taillight
anodized aluminum rear swingarm spools
ER-6n under belly fairing
COX racing radiator guard

You see Gary got it in! Can't wait to get it so I can start working on the bracket for the headlights and drop the bodywork off at the paint shop. Everything else is done though, had the bike up and running last night. I have to learn more about the auto-tuner though because the base AT map is 0 across the board, and I don't know if you're just supposed to copy your old map over that.

Which autotune map are you looking at? When I installed the auto tune on my bike it added a Target AFR table and a Trim Table. You should be able to enable autotune, pull the map from the PCV and see the Target AFR table. Because of the weird weather right now it is taking a little longer to get the auto tune dialed in. I will take a few screen shots and make a new thread when I get to the house.
Future Mods:
Something involving a CNC machine.

This is a thread for Cefosky to sell his bike because he is a traitor, not to troubleshoot something that I'm purposefully undereducated about lol.

Eff that, build one. Tbh, my next iteration of my bike will include custom turbo & subframe, and that's for sure the last time I tear apart my bike (lol?) ;) Hopefully Gary's engine builder will be up for the challenge of setting my heads up for turbo on pump gas. Will be fun to tear in to the motor :)

What tracks are local to you?

Must be nice, I have to trailer my bike out to TN, MO, or down your way, to get to a track. The state of AR doesn't allow race tracks to be built, for whatever reason.
