Jardine pipe sucks

so i bought the jardine for my bike when i bought it new and i noticed a loud rattle last year so i checked and rivets where all loose so i bought new rivets repacked and now less than a thousnd miles later the rivet holes are all womped out and its rattling again i think im going to try tack weldind it is there a prob with that? do i need to remove it from the bike to do this? stay away with i would have sprang for a better pipe now agh live and learn.

yeah the jardine pipes were widely known for doing exactly what you described.

you get what you pay for in this case, its why they sold for something like $250

When I bought it I only had two choices that or the Leo Vince many other riders on other sport bike did not have issues I'm not going to pay a fortune just for a name don't give me the you get what you pay for 250 is not that much cheaper than the scorpion which a friend has and has had no prob at all

I meant to type $150 actually.

Just looking at the construction of the jardines, and really any riveted-endcap carbon fiber body canister, they are all terribly designed. You cannot structurally rivet though CF weave like this and expect it not to fail over time.

Well you can buy one or two more cheapies and end up spending more than you would if you'd have just bought 1 good quality exhaust. Sometimes buying a name is actually better. But it's your money.

same thing happens with the two bros cf cans. i had one. got a cf arrow now nd love it.

Competetion wereks, sounds the best, by far looks the best, and was around 315.
