sv650 and other stock clipons
I was reading up on using these stock clip ons but couldn't find the answer i was looking for. Do you have to make any modifications to get these to fit (as in fairings or any other little tid bit that might get in the way)?
Finally rebuilt after deer attack

Short answer is that the fairing/windscreen gets in the way. Doesn't allow for full steering. You'll either need to mod the fairing/bodywork, get race bodywork, or remove the bodywork all together.
You could move the fork legs up in the clamps to expose them enough to clip on some clip ons. This has been successful for some. You may want to have a little rise with them. But then, you might as well buy some sport bars if you are going to put them above the upper triple clamp.
